About Auris Repletus

We live in a world that is rapidly changing due to the daily forward march of technology.  As a matter of fact, computers, science, and digital processing are advancing so fast that often, something that was a fact one day is a falsehood the next. For instance, often in my office, I am asked a question by patients, and invariably, my answer will begin with the phrase, “That used to be the case, but now…”

Audiology and hearing health has been changed greatly over the past few years by the march of technology, and these changes are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of whats ahead.  Therefore, in order to help patients and consumers stay abreast of advancements and new developments, I’ve created Auris Repletus – from the Latin for “ear” and “full”.

This space will be regularly updated with commentary on the latest advancements in hearing technology as well as tutorials on the fundamentals of hearing and balance.  Enter your email address in the left sidebar of the site in order to receive updates via email (fully confidential by the way).
